Currently you can sort monitors (and I assume other lists once the become available) but that sort is not kept when moving between pages or editting monitors and I'd really like to be able to sort my monitors by name by default.

This is now persistent using local storage, we don't clear this one when logging out as it doesn't contain any sensitive data. So no worries if your session expires, your sorting state is still there :)!
